Significance of 12 Bhavas starting with Lagna Bhava (1st Bhava/house)
1st Bhava Features :-
Starting with Janma Lagna (Birth Ascendant) if we move anti-clockwise in the Rashi chart (lagna chart), we will gradually get 12 Bhavas/houses. These 12 bhavas are native’s life-tree and planets(graho) located there are called fruits of that life-tree. From craddle to the grave , meaning from native’s birth till death, whatever eventful life he/she would have, an invisible script regarding his/her life (full of diversity) and the beautiful picture of his Karma(action) are depicted in the position/location of the planets located in these 12 bhavas . Curiosity may arise what these 12 bhavas individually signifies ! I am trying to explain below what Lagna Bhava (1st Bhava/house) means :-
- Lagna Bhava (1st Bhava/house) – Bodily appearance, body colour, shape, height, any mark on the body, reputation, quality, physical happiness, pain, health, basic nature, character, habit, cure from disease, his/herchild’s fate, death of enemy, grand-parent’s property, fate in native place and foreign place, head, It also tells some more details Like the native’s 6th younger brother/sister (if any), native’s grand-parent, granny, grand-dad, Grandmother-in-law, Grand-aunt-in-law, etc. Basically, the Lagna (Ascendant) is the first moment of contact between the soul and its new life on earth in Jyotisha. It is the degree of the rashi (or sign) which is rising on the eastern horizon at the time of one’s birth. The Most Effective Point (MEP) of the Ascendant – Lagna, is probably that point of the zodiacal belt which coincides with the position of the horizon at the time of birth, for a given place of birth. It may more specifically be called as the Udaya Lagna. However, the Ascendant is not the only Lagna used in Jyotiṣha. Another important Lagna is the Janma Rashi, which is the Rashi (or Sign) in which the moon is found at birth. Besides Rashi chart, there are many other charts which are are analysed to predic events. Among these, a very important chart is Navamsha Chakra/Navamsha chart (D9 chart). This Navamsha chart signifies the hidden force and on its strength or weakness depends how a person’s destiny unfolds. A Navamsa is equal to one-ninth part of a sign, or, one nakshatra pada . Navamsa (D9) chart represents the Actual Inner Potential Strength of various planets that may or may not come to surface easily. If these details above induce more curiosity in you, then my hard work is fruitful. We may come across many things (good/bad) in life, but if we can know our upcoming events much earlier before it actually happens through Vedic Astrology analysis & calculation and can get Remedy for these; the journey of life gets comparatively easier.
